Individuality

Individuality
Do you see yourself as an individual? Can we be unique but not separate? Can there be distinction within wholeness?

We are members of families, communities, states, countries, cultures, etc.  We each have multiple roles and identities.  Yet, although each unique expressions.... aren't we all ONE at the core?

I can appreciate individuality AND our oneness.

Allowing the Universe to Work in Unique Ways

Rest_and_renewal

My Morning Pages journal is missing in action so I decided to write them here today.  Now, usually my Morning Pages are simply a brain dump so that I can continue on my creative way the rest of the day.  But, since typing them is not my normal practice, then what I am going to write won't by typical either.

I delight in observing all the fun and funny ways that the Universe manages to answer my desires.  I learned long ago that Source has way more options, more ideas, more abilities and more ease when it comes to the actual manifestation of these desires.

On Thursday, I spoke with some professional organizers.  My house is clean, just cluttered. Friends say I AM organized, but, like many others, I have zones of clutter in my home.  So, I have been asking some MasterMind friends to see for me that my home is neat, orderly, organized, and I am delighted with it.  I even mentioned something about finding the perfect cleaning person(s) for me.

Now, it is only Sunday, and all three kids' rooms are not only cleaned, they are decluttered. Our bonus room, which I wanted back from my kids, is now my space to call my own again! Even my husband is getting in on this act and has begun to declutter his space (after he informed me that these professional organizers may not enter his space).

I did nothing.  I made a phone call and appointment.  My family did the rest.  I think they were a bit freaked out by the fact that I was very serious about hiring someone else to handle this process - and STILL AM.  Now, had I asked (which I have), or demanded (didn't work), or pleaded (fell on deaf ears), then the house would still be a mess.  All I did was take one step in the direction of which I intended to go - toward neat, clean, organized.... and the Universe did the rest.

The organizers are still coming this week.  Only now, they will be going through closets and drawers. I have also told the kids I will be hiring a regular cleaning person.  We'll see what transpires as a result of heading in the direction of that desire!

It Gets Better and Better

Posted on Jan 3rd, 2007 by Linda : soul proprietor Linda
My how time flies! It's been a series of glorious days turned into weeks and months.  I have been making a shift in my life.  I am exploring the creative side of me and giving myself permission to truly express creatively.  I have joined some art and collage groups, am learning how to sketch and draw, and how to let my inner critic play outside in the sunshine while I make some new creation.

I'm sure there are other creative souls (aren't we ALL?) here at Zaadz.  I'll find them.... soon.  But first, back to creating.... a wonderful life!

It's a sunny day in chicagoland - yippee!

What a Glorious Day

Posted on Jul 14th, 2006 by Linda : soul proprietor Linda

Nothing 'special' happened today, but oh, what a glorious day it was.  Every day is and can be a glorious one.

This morning I went to Curves and brought breakfast home for the kids.  I have lost a few more pounds (effortlessly) and feeling fabulous!

Tonight, Keith and I met at Gloria's home to learn more about our soon-to-be Japanese guest.  We are a host family for 13 year old Ryo from Komoro, Japan.  We met other families who will be hosting other students. We have never been a host family, but are all looking forward to the experience.  My intention is that Ryo has a fabulous time while in Chicagoland and while with us!

My kids each saw the doctor today for physicals (practically the ONLY time we need to see a doctor!).  Again, I am reminded how beautifully the law of attraction works.  When we moved here, I wanted a pediatrician who was a single-doctor practice (today, it seems that so many practice in groups) who had experience and was someone I could relate to.  I found our pediatrician and he was a perfect match!  East Coast trained (in my city of birth), an attorney as well as a doctor, years of experience and still practicing on his own.  We all love him and adore his staff (who have all been with him for years!).

The kids and I enjoyed a fabulous lunch at a fancy Italian restaurant, then shopped a bit before the doctor visit.  After the meeting at Gloria's, Keith and I dropped my van off for an oil change and tire rotation (no appointment needed) and proceeded to purchase a new Canon 30D camera!  It will arrive in a week or two, so I am looking forward to moving from 'film' to digital!

I may not have solved any world problems today, but  it was a great day!  I just received hugs from two of my teenage boys! I must be doing something right for me 'cause it just keeps getting better and better.

Fabulous Find

Posted on May 26th, 2006 by Linda : soul proprietor Linda
I happened upon zaadz via various searches.  I read a little then moved on.  I searched a little then moved on.  Tonight, I stayed and really read.  Halfway through this site I knew that this is where I belonged.  I intend to get to know all the other zaadsters here.  I feel like the newcomer to the party so I might be a bit shy at first, but once you get to know me you'll realize I'll be the one at the door welcoming others in.

Sometimes I feel like an internet archeologist.  I begin a search looking for something very specific.  Yet, along the way, I find myself burrowing in different directions.  Sometimes I burrow so deeply into and through websites that I have long forgotten where I began or what I was looking for.  Yet, I always enjoy my journey no matter where it leads me.  Tonight it lead me to zaadz and I am thankful and excited for my 'find.'  This place is truly a diamond in the rough and I look forward to participating in its transformation into the radiant gem that it will soon be.

Thanks everyone for being here!
